Stained Glass Masquerade

I just really love the lyrics of this song (Casting Crowns) and wanted to share. :)
More later...

Stained Glass Masquerade

Is there anyone that fails?
Is there anyone that falls?
Am I the only one in church today, feeling so small?
Cause when I take a look around
Everybody seems so strong
I know they'll soon discover
That I don't belong

So I tuck it all away
like everything's ok
If I make 'em all believe it
Maybe I'll believe it too
So with a painted grin
I'll play the part again
So everyone will see me
The way that I see them

Are we happy plastic people
under shiny plastic steeples
with walls around our weakness
and smiles that hide our pain
but the invitations open
To every heart that has been broken
Maybe then we close the curtain
On our stained glass masquerade

Is there anyone who's been there?
Are there any hands raised?
Am I the only one who's traded in
The altar for a stage?
The performance is convincing
And we know every line by heart
Only when no one is watching
can we really fall apart

But would it set me free
If i dared to let you see
The truth behind the person
You imagine me to be
Or would your eyes be opened
Or would you walk away
Would the love of Jesus
Be enough to make you stay?

Are we happy plastic people
under shiny plastic steeples
with walls around our weakness
and smiles that hide our pain
but the invitations open
To every heart that has been broken
Maybe then we close the curtain
On our stained glass masquerade

How true, how true...

Oh girl...may He break them!

AND, I posted a few pics on facebook so you could pretend you were with us. I so missed you not being there. And girl...I'm undone if there was ever an undone. The Lord spoke such a word to me and Beth was in spirit-filled 90 to nothing form as usual. Jennyhope is a hoot! And the Lord showed us His glory.

Miss you...talk to you soon! And more pictures to come soon :)

You just posted the perfect song lyrics. How did you know? But then again, you didn't did you? My sweet, sweet Savior did. If you'd read my blog today (or I guess it's actually yesterday now--it's late) you'd understand. I'm crying as I type this. Thank you so much for posting this so the Holy Spirit could speak to me through it. And thank you, LORD for how you work. You're simply amazing; you take my breath away!!

Facedown,
~Cheryl
